How Many More Months Will You Carry This Project Without Moving It?

For creatives who are capable everywhere else, but frozen around their work.

Addressing the pattern beneath the freeze so you can return to your creative work, clearer next steps, and the ability to create again.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Everything Else in Your Life Still Works

You answer emails. You meet deadlines. You manage work, relationships, appointments, and the ordinary demands of daily life.

Then you sit down to create and lose access to the capable version of yourself.

You rewrite the same paragraph. You paint over your canvas for a third time, or fix the snare drum that was already fine. Every time you sit down to create you feel foggy, restless, tired, or suddenly compelled to do anything else.

You know you CAN create. The problem is something else.

YOU TRIED THE OBVIOUS FIXES

If pressure worked, you would be creating by now.

  • A stricter schedule

  • Accountability & creative sprints

  • Productivity apps & smaller goals

  • Journalling

  • Therapy

  • Taking a break

  • Forcing yourself to stay at the desk

You may already understand the block intellectually. Understanding has not changed what happens when you sit down to your work.

WHAT IF THE FREEZE MAKES SENSE?

A creative block can function as protection.

Part of you may be responding to exposure, judgement, disappointment, failure, visibility, identity change, or something you have not yet named.

You do not need to arrive with the answer. We begin with what happens when you approach the project, then follow the pattern underneath it.

The goal is practical: the document feels easier to open, the emotional charge settles, the next decision becomes clearer, and new work becomes possible.

A REAL PATTERN OF CHANGE

Movement can begin faster than you expect.

One writer had not touched their novel in a year. After the first two sessions, they returned to the manuscript. The next weekend, they wrote 1,000 words, and later that same week another 1,500 words. By the end of our 6 weeks together they were editing their first 10,000 words.

In the first 3 weeks, movement appeared in places they had not expected: Other stalled projects were moving, decisions became easier, and new opportunities appeared.

This is one client's experience, shared with permission. Results vary by person and by pattern.

"I didn't even work on my novel that day. Then I journaled and realised I'd set up a new role as a grant writer, got a professional actor on board to co-write and co-direct my first stage play, and filled my first writing event with eleven signups. Maybe it's working in a way I didn't expect."

MORE VOICES FROM JARA’S WORK

The method may be unfamiliar. The pattern across Jara's clients is easier to understand: they feel safe enough to do honest work, then notice change in daily life.

"When I first reached out to Jara, I was feeling completely stuck. After just my first session, I began to develop a much healthier relationship with fear and with my business."

A.T., Founder, AT Method

"I came in telling Jara I had no idea what I was building. Absolutely none. By the next day I had the sentence: I could see exactly what I'm building and why. She fixed me."

Rache B., Founder, Rache Brand

"I couldn't get near my novel. Three sessions later I was writing consistently, editing my first 10,000 words, and being paid for my creative work.”

J.S., novelist and actor

"Two days after the first session, I got hit with an idea, the kind that lands and you immediately go to write it down. That doesn't usually happen to me. If I had to name what changed, it's that my relationship to ideas has changed."

What Happens in Clear to Create

THE PROCESS FROM THE INSIDE

1

Before We Begin

The onboarding gives me a clear picture of the project, the freeze, what you’ve tried, and you current experience. Our opening session allows me to hear your story, get an idea for your preferred communication style and cadence so I can tailor the work specifically to your needs.

2

The First Four Sessions

These are intentionally scheduled to all happen within the first two weeks. We move from what is active around the project now toward what is underneath the response.

3

The next 6 weeks

We meet at a cadence based on your nervous system and how the work is progressing. Whether once a week, on an as-needed basis, or something else entirely. These 6 weeks aren’t focused on many sessions a week, because that is different per artist. So we look at what you need in order to achieve what we’ve set out to accomplish together.

4

Optional Follow-Up

One month later, return for a single session to review how the work has settled long term and address any stray pieces of a subconscious pattern.

+

Between-Session Support

Email or text support, recordings, transcripts, and the independent practice are included.

When you’re at the point where you know what to do and still can’t do it.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF TOOL

Therapy can create insight, support, and healing. Journalling can help you reflect. Creative coaching can improve craft, structure, habits, and accountability.

Clear to Create focuses on the emotional and subconscious pattern that remains active beneath conscious understanding.

You remain present, aware, and in control throughout. The sessions are structured, calm, and connected to your real experience.

Clear to Create is not therapy and does not replace clinical mental-health care.

GOOD FIT

Clear to Create may be right for you if...

  • You have a current creative project or an idea you want to execute on but can’t

  • You function well in other areas of life

  • You have tried practical, surface-level approaches

  • You suspect the block reaches beyond technique

  • You are willing to take responsibility for your participation

  • You are open to meaningful change happening faster than expected

It is probably not right for you if...

NOT A FIT

  • You want a guaranteed word count/measured output

  • You expect someone else to create the result for you

  • You do not have a defined project or past creative work

  • You are mainly looking for productivity advice

  • You are unwilling to explore what sits beneath the freeze

  • You need clinical mental-health treatment

WHO YOU ARE WORKING WITH

Jara Dekker

Certified Rapid Rewire Method Practitioner · Co-Founder, Logos Personality Assessment

Jara knows what it is to look capable from the outside while something important inside has stopped moving.

At 20, she got married. At 21, she bought her first business. By 27, both were gone.

The loss forced her to confront how much of her identity had been built around performance, responsibility, and becoming the person she thought she was supposed to be.

That unraveling became the point where she stopped trying to perform her way back to safety and began understanding the patterns underneath it.

She has used this work on herself more than once since, including when clearing the path toward the practice she runs today. She has worked with clients across the world, led retreats, and helped build assessment tools that connect emotional insight with real-life change.

She works best with people who have already done a great deal of thinking and are tired of insight that does not change what happens next.

I really felt a change, faster than all those previous months of therapy.

THE COST OF WAITING

It follows you around. You think about returning to it, promise yourself you will try again, then meet the same tension when you sit down.

This project is not sitting patiently in a folder.

Another few months can cost more than an unfinished work. It can weaken your trust in yourself, make the project heavier, and turn something you once cared about into a source of shame or dread.

You do not have to let another season pass before addressing the pattern directly.
